COMMUNITY RESIDENCE PROGRAMS

WellLife Network maintains two residences which provide 24/7 care for youth facing serious mental health challenges. Each residence, located in Setauket and Dix Hills, provides an eight bed group home for adolescents diagnosed as seriously emotionally disturbed. The overall program goal is to enhance the social, emotional, and behavioral development of each youth with the target goal of returning the youth to family or independent living. Youth receive educational/vocational affiliations with local providers. Services offered include:

• Behavior management
• Linkages with family and community support systems
• Socialization skills/recreational opportunities
• Daily living skills training
• Independent living skills training (as appropriate)
• Counseling
