Overview
Burnout occurs when someone becomes very physically and emotionally tired after doing a difficult job for a long period of time. The COVID-19 pandemic has diminished the way we cope with stressors in our life. This change has profoundly affected our lives in the way we work, study, socialize and worship. As we move forward in regaining equilibrium many still face the challenges that make day-to-day life heavier and less enjoyable.
Objectives:
In this community-based training webinar together, together we will:
- Self-identify sources of stress and how stress leads to burnout
- Understand the role of resilience in managing stress
- Apply effective assessment and adaptation techniques to help one navigate during difficult times
- Develop highly effective and successful stress management techniques
- Offer encouragement to individuals exhibiting burnout
